ISPOSAL OF PARTS
When the bed frame / electrical system has come to the end of its useful life follow
local recycling and W.E.E.E. (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) policies.
The electrical system on the bed frame is not to be disposed of in general municipal
waste. Some of the electrical components could be harmful to the environment and
where viable the components can be recovered and reused / recycled.
The steel, plastic and wooden components are also to be separated and disposed of
following the local recycling policy as these can also be recovered and recycled.
The bed is to be decontaminated before disposal to avoid risk of
cross contamination.
