Remove the MT strip with the examined object copy and disconnect the magnetic clamps.
Avoid contact of magnetic clamps and the scanner with the MT surface. Otherwise,
the MT can be partially demagnetized or “unnecessary” magnetization elements
(blemishes or strips unrelated to the examined object) may appear.

Put the magnetic copy into the corresponding cartridge for storing MT (see Figures 6a,
b). The one for storing MT with recorded data is marked with red marker. If necessary,
use the marker for applying a comment on the MT strip.

If it is impossible to carry out prompt examination of the magnetic copy (e.g. there is
no USB MOV device), it is recommended to carry out 1–2 additional magnetic copies.
It minimizes the probability of obtaining a magnetic copy of low quality.
