6. Remove the counterweight previously installed.
7. Slide the glass door downwards—rotate it outwards.
8. After the door is removed— remove both top and bottom screws to release
the glass door from the outside glass assembly.
WARNING:
THE COUNTERWEIGHTS IN THIS UNIT ARE VERY HEAVY
AND CAN CAUSE INJURY. USE CAUTION WHEN REMOVING DOORS,
COUNTERWEIGHTS, OR CABLES. ALWAYS ENSURE CABLES ARE
SECURED WHEN REMOVING DOORS.
3. Open the door frame as shown below and remove the 3 screws located at the top/
bottom and the 4 screws on either end (front/back) 14 screws total (the 2 front
middle screws in the are for the latch). Remove the bottom and end screws from
the frame first and the top screws last, support the glass when removing the last
top screws to avoid breaking the glass.
Note:
Once the glass is removed, the door frame will move upwards due to
the counterweights.

Removing the Glass Door / Latch / Complete Frame
1. Remove the attached screen connector below by taking out the 2—7/16"
Hex bolts as shown.
2. Detach the cables on either side and place them on the top hook located
on either side—so the weights stay elevated.
Caution:
glass weights are heavy.
4. Reinstall one of the counterweights (either left or right) onto the door to
make it feel weightless.
5. Remove the 6 x 5mm Allen key screws attached to the door sliders as shown.
9. Remove 2—3/8"bolts (shown in
diagram) to remove and replace
latch assembly.
