f) Switching on the Speed Controller
First switch on the transmitter, see chapter 8. d).
Place the vehicle on a suitable support as described in chapter 8. e) to ensure the wheels can turn freely.
Do not reach into the drive. Do not hold the wheels
Put the trimming for steering and driving functions at the transmitter into its centre position.
Leave the throttle/brake lever at the transmitter in its neutral position and do not move it.
Then switch on the speed controller (switch position “ON” = on).
The red LED at the speed controller should now flash 4 times, and the motor should
emit 4 beeps. The orange LED also lights up.
If the red LED does not flash after switching on and the motor does not emit any sound signals, while only
the orange LED is lit, the correct neutral position could not be recognised. In this case, set the trimming of
your transmitter correctly or programme the full throttle and neutral positions of the speed controller; see
chapter 10. a).
The sounds are generated by a short start-up of the brushless motor. Depending on the motor, this beep
may be very low or inaudible. In this case, observe the LED on the speed controller.
Then check the drive and steering functions of the vehicle; also see chapter 8. h).
If the steering works opposed to the movement at the rotation knob at the transmitter (a turn to the left at
the transmitter makes the wheels go to the right), activate the steering reverse function.
The vehicle should drive forwards if you pull the throttle/brake lever at the transmitter towards the handle
If this is not the case, either reverse the motor’s rotational direction (swap two of the three motor cables) or
activate the motor reverse function at the transmitter.
g) Attaching / Fastening the Car Body
Hold the car body above the vehicle in the correct alignment and put it down on the chassis. The strong magnets then
securely fasten the car body to the vehicle.
The magnetic holders make it possible to dispense with the complicated and time-consuming attachment of the car
body on the vehicle with car body retainers.
Your car is now ready for its first test run!
