I. PRIOR TO FIRST USE
Carefully take the appliance and its detachable parts out of the package.
Remove all wrapping materials and stickers except for the serial number identification sticker!
Wipe all interior and exterior surfaces of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Wash the bowl with
warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Odor on first use of the appliance is normal. In
such case, clean the device.
After transportation or storage at low temperatures allow the appliance to stay at room
temperature for at least 2 hours before using it.
II. OPERATION
Before Operating
Place the device on a flat, stable, and hard surface away from any objects or cabinets that
could be damaged by steam, humidity, or high temperatures.
Before operating, make sure that the outer and inner parts of the multicooker have no dents,
cracks or any other visible damages. There should not be any obstructions between the
heating element and the bowl.
“Voice Guide” Function
REDMOND RMC-M150 is equipped with the “Voice Guide” function, which talks you through
entire cooking process, providing with detailed information about the current settings and
adjustments made. The function turns on automatically after the device is being plugged in.
Press and hold down the “Час/Мин” button in standby mode to disable the function. Repress
and hold the button down to reactivate the function.
To Set the Cooking Time
Select the program. Press “Таймер/t°С” button repeatedly to select the cooking time setting
mode (“ТАЙМЕР” indicator lights up, default cooking time is displayed, minute indicator starts
blinking).
1. Press “Час/Мин” to select hours/minutes (selected value starts blinking). Press “+” to
increase and “–“ to decrease the time value.
2. Press and hold the button down to scroll through the digits.
3. When the cooking time is set (display keeps blinking) proceed to the next stage. To cancel
the settings and reset press “Отмена/Подогрев” button.
4. Note! When manually adjusting the cooking time consider the time setting range and
interval of the program selected. In certain programs cooking time starts to count down
only when the device reaches its operating temperature.
“Time Delay” Function
The function allows programming the device to start cooking by specific time. Cooking
program can be delayed from 5 minutes to 24 hours in 5 minute intervals.
1. Select and adjust the program. Press “Отложенный Старт” button (minute value is blinking).
2. Press “Час/Мин” button to select between hour/minute setting mode (selected value
starts blinking). Press “+” to increase and “–“ to decrease the time value. Press and hold
the button down to scroll through the digits.
3. Press and hold down the “Старт/Автоподогрев” button. “Time Delay” function starts
operating (timer stops blinking, the time remaining before the beginning of the program
starts to count down).
4. To cancel the settings and reset press “Отмена/Подогрев” button.
Caution! It is not recommended to use the function if dairy and other perishable products are
being used (eggs, fresh milk, meat, cheese etc.).
“Keep Warm” Function
The function is being automatically activated at the end of the cooking program. It allows
maintaining the temperature of 70–80°С for a period of time up to 24 hours. “Отмена/По-
догрев” button indicator lights up, and the “Keep Warm” function count up is displayed. Press
and hold down the “Отмена/Подогрев” button to disable the function.
To disable the function in advance, when adjusting the program or during its operation, press
and hold down the “Старт/Автоподогрев” button until “Отмена/Подогрев” button indicator
goes off. To reactivate the function, repress and hold down the “Старт/Автоподогрев” button
(“Отмена/Подогрев” button indicator lights up).
Reheat Function
REDMOND RMC-M150 allows reheating cooked food. To reheat:
1. Fill the bowl with food and place it inside the device.
2. Close the lid and plug in the unit.
3. Press and hold down the “Отмена/Подогрев” button until an audible sound is heard.
“ПОДОГРЕВ” indicator is displayed, button indicator lights up. Timer starts to count up
the “Reheat” time. The food will be warmed up to 70–80°С, and the temperature will
be maintained for a period of time up to 24 hours.
4. Press and hold down the “Отмена/Подогрев” button to stop reheating. Corresponding
indicators go off.
Non-volatile Memory
Multicooker REDMOND RMC-M150 is a non-volatile memory unit. In case of a power cut-off
the device stores the settings (including “Time Delay” and “Voice Guide” functions) for a period
of time up to 2 hours. If power supply resumes during this period, multicooker continues its
operation without any memory loss.
