4. Install the rotary sensor mounting bracket.
• If sensor bracket P/N 107-0172-268 is being installed, secure the rotary sensor mounting bracket on the pivot
bearing’s open hole using the machine’s existing heavy duty washers, one 1/2”-13 x 3-1/2” bolt (P/N 311-0058-
105), two 1/2” flat washers (P/N 313-2300-017), and one 1/2”-13 nylon insert lock nut (P/N 312-4000-065) as
shown below.
NOTE: Reinstall the machine’s heavy duty washers in their original location. When fully assembled, one of the
washers will be under the head of the bolt and the other will be positioned under the rotary sensor
mounting bracket.
• If sensor bracket P/N 107-0172-177 is being installed, secure the rotary sensor mounting bracket on the pivot
bearing’s open hole using the machine’s heavy duty washers, one 5/16” - 18 x 3-1/2” bolt
(P/N 311-0052-115), 5/16” flat washers (P/N 313-2300-011), and one 5/16” - 18 nylon insert lock nut (P/N 312-
4000-059 as shown below.
NOTE: Reinstall the machine’s heavy duty washers in their original location. Use as many 5/16” washers as
necessary to fill the gap between the mounting bracket and the heavy duty washers. Use an equal
amount of washers on each side to center the sensor above the bearing.
NOTE: Use masking tape to hold the washer pack together during assembly.
