Immediately after detection the alarm is activated by a flashing question mark in the display field of the
measuring channel concerned. If the alarm refers to a single measuring channel, the measuring function of
the other channels is still ensured.
However, if a severe error is recognised which renders a continuation of operation with the apparatus
impossible, this fact is also indicated in a pop-up window, and an alarm of high priority is activated. The
operator can only shut down the apparatus. All other keys are blocked.
(4) Fault reader TDT1 readP
This alarm is triggered if at least one of the following situations exist:
•
"As well as the reader, a catheter has also been connected to P1. If you wish to connect a catheter
instead of the reader, first remove the catheter and reader. Then connect the catheter."
•
"As well as the catheter %s, the reader has also been connected. If you wish to connect the reader
instead of the catheter, first remove the catheter and reader. Then connect the reader."
•
"No more data are received from the reader. There is probably a technical defect. Remove the
reader from the device and please contact technical services."
•
"The implant software version is not compatible with the measurement system. Use another
pressure measurement implant or contact the service department."
•
"There is an inconsistency in the reader data. A measurement process cannot be carried out. Use
another reader."
•
"The reader software version is not compatible with the measurement system. A measurement
process cannot be carried out. Use another reader or contact the service department for a software
update."
•
"The version of the correction parameters in the reader is not compatible with the measurement
system. A measurement process cannot be carried out. Use another reader or contact the service
department for a software update."
(5) ICPT fault
This alarm is triggered if at least one of the following situations exist:
•
"The telemetry connection has been broken. The telemetry catheter may be located outside the
transmission area of the readers antenna."
•
"After loss of the telemetry connection there is another DMI in the receiving range of the reader. If
you wish to continue measuring with this DMI, you must switch the device off and start a new
measurement after switching back on."
•
"The implant probably has a hardware fault."
•
"There is an error in the implant data. A measurement process cannot be carried out. If possible,
use another implant."
