In principle, the VTY can be installed at any point in the pipeline.
Straight pipe sections are preferable.
The installation can be carried out in horizontal as well as vertical
pipelines.
The flow sensor is exclusively for use in complete
filled cables.
You must absolutely avoid a free outlet.
The arrow on the flow sensor shows the only possible
flow direction.
!! must be resisted at all costs !!
CAUTION! Material damage!
Observe maximum torque. When tightening the union nut on the turbine body of
the unit, hold against it!
The VTY can be damaged if not held against it.
Tighten the two union nuts, holding them against the turbine body of the unit with
a spanner (SW19 / SW30).

Check that
•
the VTY has been correctly installed and all screw connections are tight.
the electrical connections have been made correctly.
the measuring system has been vented by flushing.
the VTY has no switch and cannot be switched on or off by itself.
It is switched on and off via the connected supply voltage.
Switch on the supply voltage.
The VTY is ready for operation and switches over to measuring mode.
In measuring mode, the VTY supplies a flow proportional NPN square wave signal.
The frequency of the output signal changes according to the flow
