Function:
The liquid flowing into the VTY sets the rotor in rotation.
The forces generated during rotation are largely cancelled out by the symmetrical
shape of the rotor and wear is reduced to a minimum.
The rotor of the VTY is equipped with a magnet.
A Hall-effect sensor detects the rotation of the rotor and converts it into a frequency
signal proportional to the flow (square wave signal).
The extremely hard bearing materials, sapphire and tungsten carbide, also guarantee
an exceptional service life.
