5.5 Regulating the Gas Valve Offset
When replacing the gas valve, it is necessary to regulate
the offset on the new gas valve to guarantee a correct
operation of the boiler.
N.B. The boiler is only approved for G20 .
5.5.1 Max. power supply regulation
- CO
2
value
Switch on the boiler;
Insert the flue analiser to the inspection
point
(5)
(fig. 1) in order to determine the
CO
2
value and wait until the boiler
operates and the fan runs at the max.
speed.
Check the CO
2
value on the instrument
and verify that the value is 9.4. If
necessary operate on the screw
(2)
(fig.2)
to reduce or increase the CO
2
value
(ATTENTION, the screw has not a stop
point therefore it rotates by completely
opening or closing the gas passage).
5.5.2 OFF-SET Regulation
Make sure that the gas valve
(4)
(fig. 2)
and air intake pipe
(6)
(fig. 3) pressure
points are connected with a silicon pipe (7);
Slaken the screw
(1)
and insert a manometer –
with a mbar graduate scale;
Switch on the boiler at the min. capacity
(parameter 12);
The manometer should read a value of -0.07
mbar;
If it reads a different value, unscrew the cap
screw
(3)
(fig. 2) and operate on the internal
plastic screw. By rotating it clockweise or
anticlockweise the OFF – SET value can be
increased or reduced;
Once the regulation is completed, screw the cap
screw
(3)
(fig. 2), remove the manometer and
screw the pressure point screw
(1)
(fig. 2);
