Safety advice
There is a danger of electric shock if you touch live parts.
Do not touch any live parts on the circuit board and use suitably insulated tools.
Set the sensitivity
1.
Loosen the cover of the opener and remove it.
2.
Turn the controller to the maximum sensitivity with a
small flat-bladed screwdriver (3 mm).
NOTE
Turn the controller with as little force as possible and do not overwind it as this
could destroy it as a result.
3.
Close the door, e.g. with the hand transmitter.
4.
The opener closes the door.
5.
During the closing run the opener stops at a random place
and moves the door approximately 15 cm in the opposite
direction (reversing).
6.
Open the door again fully.
Danger of electric shock
Do not touch any live parts.
To avoid the risk of crushing and shearing according to DIN
EN 13241-1, the RolloPort S4 is fitted with a controller
with which you can adjust the sensitivity of the opener.
To enable the regulations in this standard to be complied with, you must set
the opener to the maximum possible sensitivity. The RolloPort S4 is supplied
ex works with the minimum sensitivity.
Important information before adjustment
◆
Before adjustment the opener must be fully installed and both limit stops
must be set.
◆
To set the sensitivity, you must loosen the cover of the opener and remove
this.
◆
On the circuit board of the opener, there is a controller for setting the
sensitivity.
7.
Adjust the controller (in an anti-clockwise direction) slightly
in the direction of minimum sensitivity.
8.
Repeat procedure 3 to 7 until the door closes fully.
9.
After the last adjustment carry out a full trial run (opening
and closing) six times altogether.
NOTE
Repeat the adjustment if the opener stands still again during the trial run.
10.
Replace the cover again.
ATTENTION
After every alteration to the door system you must readjust the sensitivity
again.
If during a future check of the closing forces the limit values are exceeded, you
should have the door system (balance / spring tension / smooth running etc.)
checked and adjusted by a specialist.
