Fixing hole made
by drilling
1.
Slide the profile slide to the door leaf.
2.
Place the door bracket on the top edge of the garage door
and align it with the centre of the door (in a line with the
profile slide). Next, mark out the four fixing holes on the
door frame.
3.
Punch in the fixing holes in the door frame with the aid of
the enclosed spike
NOTE
The self-tapping screws need sufficient purchase in the material.
Check the thickness of your door frame. If the thickness is sufficient, you can also
pre-drill the fixing holes with a 4 mm metal drill bit if you are unable to punch
in the holes with the steel nail.
Mounting materials: Group D
The connection between the garage door opener and the garage door is established
with the aid of the door bracket.
NOTE
We recommend fixing the door bracket to the door frame if possible. For plastic
or thin-walled wooden doors extra bracings are needed in order to avoid damaging
the door. In this case please consult your door supplier.
Use existing drillholes, if possible, to mount the door bracket.
Installation to sectional doors
Use the sectional door fitting, item no. 4560-03 from the accessories.
