Installation of the external release mechanism
In the case of round or very short
door handles you must fit an
extension lever to the door
handle.
Fit the enclosed bracket behind the
door handle
or
drill a hole in the door handle.
Secure the bowden cable to the
bracket using the enclosed rope
clip.
Secure the bowden cable to the
door handle with a rope clip.
5.
Fit the enclosed bracket for securing the bowden cable
behind the door handle.
or (if this is not possible):
Drill a hole for the wire cable on the door handle using a
3 mm metal drill bit.
NOTE
Ensure that the wire cable is pulled down when the door handle is turned.
Drill the hole on the corresponding side, as far outwards as possible on the door
handle, in order to obtain a large lever arm.
6.
Adjust the length of the wire cable so that the profile slide
can be decoupled from the driver as soon as the door hand-
le is turned and the door is opened at the same time.
7.
After this, secure the wire cable with the enclosed rope
clip.
NOTE
Check the tension of the wire cable after every „external release“.
