Installation of the header bracket
1.
Lift up the front end of the sliding rail and align it along
the centre markings.
During the installation work protect the opener housing
from damage.
Lay it in the box for the mounting materials, for example.
2.
Mark the drillholes for the header bracket.
Pay attention when drilling to the thickness of your garage
ceiling.
In the case of thin garage ceilings, as for example in prefabricated garages,
be sure to drill with depth stop and not deeper than 35 mm, as some
prefabricated garages have a ceiling thickness of only 6 cm.
NOTE
In this case, fix the header bracket with special wall plugs, e.g. with shorter
anchor plugs.
3.
Pre-drill the mounting holes with a 10 mm masonry drill
bit.
4.
Screw the header bracket tight with the enclosed mounting
materials (group B).
There is a danger of injury if installation is carried out
incorrectly.
Attach the header bracket soundly, as this is the point on which the entire
driving forces work.
Mounting materials: Group B
The sliding rail is mounted to the lintel with the header bracket or to the garage
ceiling.
