Set the Host HBA ID.
Choose a hard ID address for the host HBA(s) that will not conflict with any of the
drive ID ranges.
NOTE:
If soft addressing is used on the host HBA, most likely there will be a
conflict. This will cause the drive IDs to change, since the host HBA ID
address is assigned before the device IDs.
For example, if the ID range 0-11 is selected, choose a hard address ID for the host
HBA between the range of 12 through 15. If a second enclosure is added to expand
the drive channels, most likely it will have ID range 16-27 assigned to its devices. Using
this method prevents an ID conflict.
