i
IMPORTANT:
The setting is made in the factory and must not be
modified except in special cases.

Legend
1 Cylinder heads
Before performing lateral levelling adjustment, ensure that
the implement, once folded down into the working position, is
horizontal and placed on a firm, flat surface. The tyres must be
identical, inflated to the same pressure and have a comparable
level of wear.
1
Adjustment procedure
Lateral levelling is performed by adjusting the heads of the
folding cylinders (1).
∙
Fold down the implement into the working position. raise it so
that the discs are no longer on the ground.
∙
Move away from the implement and check its alignment
relative to the ground.
∙
If one of the side parts is too low, raise it by shortening the
folding cylinder rod (tighten the cylinder head on the threaded
rod).
∙
If one of the side parts is too high, lower it by lengthening
the folding cylinder rod (untighten the cylinder head on the
threaded rod).
i
IMPORTANT:
Before tightening or untightening a cylinder head,
lower the implement so that it rests on its discs,
thus making adjustment easier.
9.5.3
Unlevelled ground
If the implement does not leave the ground perfectly flat, check
the following settings and adjust as necessary:
∙
Longitudinal and lateral levelling.
∙
Adjustment of levelling devices. These may be needed if not
already fitted on the implement.
9.5.4
Ground work
∙
Drive forwards slowly and lower the implement for a gradual
entry of the discs and the tines into the soil.
