6.2 Implement wheels
i
IMPORTANT:
Check the general condition of the wheels daily.
6.2.1
Tyre pressures
i
IMPORTANT:
Regularly check the pressure of the tyres. The
pressure in the tyres must never be less than the
recommended tyre pressure.

-
Follow the manufacturer's recommendations (values marked
on the sidewall of the tyres).
a
CAUTION:
- An "over-inflated" tyre risks to burst.
- An "under-inflated" tyre risks come off the rim.
6.2.2
Tightening of wheel studs
-
Check the tightening of the studs daily.
i
IMPORTANT:
Wheels fitted with studded tyres require particular
attention (high vibration when driving on the road).
6.3 Undercarriage
The undercarriage is located between the tines and the rear disc
gang. It serves during transport and when performing field head
manoeuvres.
When working, the undercarriage must be fully raised, the
working depth is controlled by the rear roller.
For some applications, such as loose or muddy ground, the
undercarriage can support part of the load or can be raised (the
depth is then, adjusted by the rear roller).
6.4 Rear weight-bearing roller
The implement is equipped with a folding rear weight-bearing
roller. This roller controls the working depth.
Principle
Depth control by the rear roller only:
Fully raise the wheels and control the working depth with the rear
roller (length of adjusting rods).
The undercarriage can then be used to occasionally lift the
implement (just touching the surface).

4 Roller folding cylinder
5 Frame folding cylinder
Principle
Lateral levelling of the roller is performed by adjusting the heads
of the folding cylinders.
a
CAUTION:
This is a factory setting and must not be modified
except in special cases. Contact your dealer for any
further information.
The roller is folded by means of two cylinders (3), connected to
the side frame folding cylinders (1), a double-acting (DA) outlet is
required on the tractor to fold the entire implement.
i
IMPORTANT:
Unfolding and folding operations are performed:
With the implement fully raised, to avoid any risk of
rubbing on the ground
6.4.2
Height adjustment
The height of the roller is controlled by master/slave cylinders (2),
directly connected to the tractor. The working depth is controlled
by the height of the roller. A graduated scale indicates the depth.
∙
To increase the working depth:
-
Raise the roller.
∙
To reduce the working depth:
-
Lower the roller.
