5.2 Important information for using the device
When you use the RIDA
®
QUICK SCAN pay attention to the following:

Do not place the device in direct sunlight.

Do not subject the device to intense heat.

Protect the device from high humidity, moisture
and excessive contact with liquids.

Do not subject the device to strong radiation with electromagnetic
waves.
To operate the RIDA
®
QUICK SCAN you must adhere to the following environmental
conditions:

5.3 Care and maintenance
This section is aimed at experienced users who carry out installation and maintenance work.
The information should familiarise users with the care and maintenance work needed to
operate a RIDA
®
QUICK SCAN.
Note!
As the RIDA
®
QUICK SCAN requires batteries for
mobile operation, these must be recharged regularly.
The RIDA
®
QUICK SCAN can be recharged with the
supplied 12V power unit. The batteries should be
recharged for at least 10 hours.
Note!
If you use the RIDA
®
QUICK SCAN in a working area
that is subject to high levels of dirt, you should clean
the device regularly. Use a damp cloth to clean the
device. If the dirt is persistent, you can also rub the
surface of the device with a cloth that has been
moistened with pure alcohol (isopropanol or ethanol).
Do not use aggressive cleaning agents such as
acetone.
