4.10.4 Disconnect/Reconnect Page (02h)
The tape drive supports the Disconnect/Reconnect Page, which has the following format:
EER
Enable Early Recovery. Always enabled, this bit is always 1.
PER
Post Error. This bit turns on reporting of CHECK CONDITION to report
recovered Read / Write errors. The default value of this bit is 0.
DTE
Disable Transfer on Error. Not supported, this bit is 0.
DCR
Disable ECC Correction. Not supported, this bit is 0.
Read Retry Count
This field reports the maximum number of times the tape drive tries to reread
before declaring an unrecoverable error.
Write Retry Count
This field reports the maximum number of times the tape drive tries to overwrite
before declaring an unrecoverable error.
