5 INSERT HEAD INSTALLATION DS-200iQ / DS-600iQ

5.1 POSITIONING THE INSERT HEAD
The modules will require several people to lift and fit into place. Do
not attempt to lift or fit into place without taking necessary
precautions. It is recommended to use the lifting kit to assist in
lifting the modules. See section 3.1 Lifting Kit for further assistance.
1. Ensure the module stand is assembled prior to positioning the unit onto the
stand. See section 4.1 Assembling the Module Stands for further assistance.
Ensure the stands are bolted together before the modules are
placed on top.
2. Place the Insert Head onto the stand, ensuring the front corner of the machine
is aligned with the corner of the stand as shown in Figure 5.1.

3. The wetter pipe and return will be coiled inside the Insert Head. Uncoil the
pipes and feed them through the Insert Head chassis and the hole in the stand
as shown in Figure 5.2.

Ensure the pipe/tubing is not twisted, kinked or blocked in any way
to allow free flow of the fluid inside.
4. Remove the stainless steel rod from the thinner pipe and refit when complete.
5. Once the Insert Head is in place, the first module unit (e.g. Versatile Feeder or
Flex Folder) may then be placed.
