Update Firmware Command
The
Utilities/Update Firmware
command updates all the firmware on an
AN-X you have previously selected using the
Utilities/Select An AN-X
command.
This command resets the AN-X. You will receive a warning and be
given the opportunity to Cancel the command.
If you cancel at the filename dialog, the AN-X has already been reset and
is in configuration mode. Use the
Utilities/Restart AN-X
command to
restart it in production mode.
Click the
Next>>
button, and select the firmware file you want to
download and click
Open
.
AnxInit transfers the firmware file and restarts the AN-X.
After you run update the firmware, you must reconfigure the AN-X.
Patch Firmware
The
Utilities/Patch Firmware
command applies small patches to the
firmware running on the AN-X.
These patch files files have extension
pch
.
