8. Prior to first use, clean all the accessories with warm soapy
water. Rinse and dry carefully.
9. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the
hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be
made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less
than 8 years.
10. Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge
if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of
the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
11. Children shall not play with the appliance.
12. The marking of this device (symbol of a crossed-out
dustbin) complies with European Directive 2012/19/EU
relating to “used electrical and electronic equipment”.
This marking means that this equipment, at the end of its useful
life, cannot be disposed of with other household waste. The user
is required to deliver it to operators who collect used electrical and
electronic equipment. Collection operators, including local
collection points, shops and local authorities, create an appropriate
system for collecting equipment. Appropriate collection of used
electrical and electronic equipment helps avoid harmful impacts
on human health and the environment, resulting from the presence
of hazardous components, as well as from improper storage and
treatment of this equipment.
13. Details regarding cleaning of surfaces which are in contact
with food can be found in the “CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE”
section.
14. Take care not to burn yourself with hot steam.
15. Do not touch the hot parts of the appliance (such as the steam
wand or the metal filter). Use the handles or knobs.
16. Do not operate the coffee machine without water.
17. Do not remove the metal filter holder when the appliance is
preparing coffee or when steam and hot water escape from it, and
make sure you release the pressure from the water tank and the
steam wand before removing the tank or metal funnel.
18. Do not use outdoors.
19. There is a potential risk of injury if used improperly.
