VIP-NET-M28A Network Switch - USER MANUAL

VERSION 1.0

Power Modules

Each VIP-NET-M28A series switch supports maximum two power modules. Follow the steps bellows for
installation.

Step 1: Switch off the power of the switch.

Step 2: Insert the modules in Power 1 and 2 slots respectively.

Step 3: Switch on the power of the switch

WARNING

not disconnect modules or wires unless power has been switched off or the area is known
to be non-hazardous. The devices may only be connected to the supply voltage shown on

the type plate.

ATTENTION

Be sure to disconnect the power cord before installing and/or wiring your switches.

Calculate the maximum possible current in each power wire and common wire.

Observe all electrical codes dictating the maximum current allowable for each wire size.
