Pull the protection cap off the connector
and attach the quick deflator to the valve
(attaches virtually without loss of air). The
stop cock is still closed so the current internal
tIre pressure can be read off the gauge.
Now open the stop cock for approx.
15 to 60 seconds (depending on the size of
the tires and the required pressure differ-
ential) and let the tire air out.
Because of the high flow rate (400-
800 l/min depending on the tire pressure),
the gauge will show a very low (dynamic)
pressure during air escape. The actual tire
pressure can always be checked by tempo-
rarily closing the stop cock. We recommend
checking the time required for deflation of
the specific tires using the second hand of
your watch so you know the time required
for future deflation and only need to open
and close the stop cock once or twice for
deflation. The inflation and deflation times
for typical tires are listed in the appendix.
If you let out too much air, the tire will
need to be reinflated (see section below).

Always adjust the tire pressure in accord-
ance with the vehicle or tire manufactur-
er’s instructions!
NOTE
Do not use the AIRBOOSTER
®
plus to ad-
just the pressure of water-filled tires. The
water channelled through the lines would
cause considerable damage to the system!
