Start and Stop the filling
One of the following ways can be used to start the filling operation;
1. Function key: If you want to start the filling operation by pressing a key, program one of the function
keys for smart operation (Refer to parameter
[241], [242] and [243]
).
2. Digital input: The digital input-1 can be used to start the filling operation.
3. Serial interface: Transmit the “Start EzAz” command via serial interface (Refer to parameters
[111],
[121], [131], [141] or [151]
).
4. Automatic filling operation: If you will use the scale only for filling and you prefer to activate the filling
operation automatically after loading, set the parameter
[321]
to automatic operation.
To end the filling;
1. Unload the scale or,
2. Disable the operation by pressing the function key which is programmed as the EzAz key or,
3. Reset the filling with digital input-2 or,
4. Send the “Stop EzAz” command via the serial interface.

The EzAz App. announces the stage of the filling cycles with backlight colour, with the bar graph on the
right of the display and acoustically. Refer to parameter

Digital inputs and outputs
If one of the applications is selected, digital inputs and outputs are set to the application automatically
even if they have been programmed for different functions.
You may control your scale via these digital inputs and outputs. Unused inputs and outputs of the
application can be programmed for basic weighing.

5.4 ADVANCED SETTINGS
5.4.1 Tilt Switch
Note:
REQUIRES OPTION WITH DIGITAL INPUTS.
The indicators can be fitted with a tilt switch connected to Input 4 and enabled in the parameters
(6.5.1.10) if they have an option with Digital I/O fitted to prevent weighing in an out of level condition for
approved mobile scales. The weight is blanked and the message
[ DUE TO TILTING ]
is displayed.
5.4.2 Key lock
Passwords can be set to limit access to the keys of the instrument.
The instruments have the ability to lock the keys to avoid unauthorised access. The key(s) which would
be locked are programmed in the setup at sub-block
[34-]
.
