530 Lateral Flexion is designed for muscular stabilization of the sagittal trunk muscles.
Indication
•
Sarcopenia of the trunk muscles
•
Osteoporosis in early stages (grade 0 and 1)
•
Nonspecific pain in the lower spine
Specific patient positioning
Position the patient sitting upright on the seat cushion. The seat with the gas pressure spring can be
adjusted by actuating the release below the seat. The seat height is selected so that the rotation axis of
the unit corresponds to the rotation axis on the patient. The lateral stabilization pad is adjusted using
the adjustment lever (yellow) on the right side of the stabilization pad. Press this lever and pull the lever
arms close to the upper body. Release lever to achieve fixation. To adjust the starting position, actuate
the locking bolt on the cam disk and select the appropriate starting point according to your starting
position (left, right). Move the lever arm to the desired position and engage the bolt there again. This
adjustment is made in 10° increments. Set the weight load. The Range of Motion Limiter (optional) for
the end position is located above the weight block and is adjusted by loosening the fastening screw.
