Using the “Forum Hotel”
Programme
The following usage information is designed for hotel staff.
The
Forum Hotel
programme is used via the Web console of the Forum 500 /
Forum 5000. The system administrator must allocate users (those who are to
undertake reception duties) the corresponding authorisation. The programme
may be used simultaneously by multiple employees (Users).
At all times, the
Forum Hotel
programme provides you with an overview of
the occupancy of the hotel and the essential information relating to guests.
Additionally much of the functionality of the
Forum Hotel
programme may
be directly accessed via the reception telephone (see also
The Menu “Hotel”
on the Reception Telephone
starting on page 39). This is ideal for situations
were you need to manage the rooms but have no access to a hotel PC.
Starting and Ending the Programme
Starting the programme – quick access
1.
In the address line of the web browser, enter:
“http://<ip-adr>/app-hotel.asp”.
The character string “<ip-adr>” represents the IP address of the communi-
cations system on your LAN. You can also use the host name of the
communications system instead of the IP address.
The log-in mask opens.

: Enter your user name and your password.
2. Keep me logged in
: When you activate this option, you stay logged in for
the next 14 days, even when you terminate the programme. When you re-
start the programme, there is no log-in.
