Configuring Telephone Invoices
For the settlement of telephone costs, there are a number of settings in the
Configurator
’s menus that need to be made.
Cost Zones and per-minute costs
The calls made by the hotel guests can be calculated based on cost zones
(e. g. national calls, international calls, connections to mobile phone
networks). These cost zones can be configured in the
Telephony
:

menu or alternatively in the
Telephony

Cost zones
menu. You can
define an individual per-minute charge for each cost zone. These charges are
calculated per minute begun. A per-minute rate dependent on connection
destination is stipulated by law e.g. in Germany for calculating telephone
charges in hotels (e. g. this is stipulated by law in Germany).
The
Create costs
option has to be activated for all bundles and SIP lines used
to establish external connections for hotel guests so that these charges can be
recorded for billing purposes.

Value added tax
In the
Applications

Settings
menu you need to set the value
added tax (this can be set to an accuracy of one decimal place). The telephone
invoice for the guest then includes along with the connection data, the total
cost plus value added tax.
