5. Commissioning
5.1. Wing doors
The doors can be locked by means of the integral locking cylinder and opened
independently of one another.
The door closer is set at the factory to operate correctly at room temperature. If
extreme temperature changes occur in your application, it could take up to 12 hours
to adapt to room temperature.
Important: The closing force and / or speed of the door closer may only be
altered by authorised persons.
The central locking device is released at a temperature of 50°C (+0/-10°C) base
and locks the door automatically.
5.2. Installation of the shelves
If the cabinet includes tray shelves as special shelves (for discharging leaking
liquids into the sump):
•
The shelves which are shipped with the cabinet and the shelf support pins (4 or
5 per shelf) and fixing screws (4 per shelf) are installed in the hazardous
material cabinet at the factory.
•
To position the shelves, attach the shelf support pins to the side walls in the
required position.
•
Place the shelf on the shelf support and screw the fastening screws (4 per shelf)
through the tray shelf into the side wall of the cabinet (tilt protection and safety
device).
Important for equipotential bonding: when fitting the screws at the rear right, the
locking washer must be placed between the exterior of the special shelf and the
silver foil.
If the cabinet includes a base pan as a special shelf (for collecting leaking liquids):
•
Screw the base pan to the side walls using four 4.5 x 35 mm screws to prevent it
from tilting or being pulled out inadvertently.
The top shelf must not be more than 1.75 m above the floor.
