LED Indicators: Front of MVI69 Module
The LEDs indicate the module’s operating status. The module has two sets of
LED Indicators:

door on the front of the module.
5.3.1 Module Status Indicators

ON
Configuration Error: This LED is illuminated
when the PROFIBUS and module CRC values
do not match between input/output blocks.
Verify that the values match the values
generated with the Calculate Checksums button
in ProSoft Configuration Builder. If they do not
match, you must manually change the values at
the appropriate address locations listed in the
Input and Output block definitions in this manual.
OFF Normal
operation
BP ACT
Amber
ON
The LED is ON when the module is able to
communicate over the backplane.
OFF
The LED is OFF when the module is unable to
communicate with the processor. The processor
is either absent or not running.
BATT
Red
OFF
The battery voltage is OK and running.
ON
The battery voltage is low or the battery is not
present. The battery LED will illuminate briefly
upon the first installation of the module or if the
unit has not had power for an extended period.
This behavior is normaL; however, should the
LED come on in a working installation, please
contact ProSoft Technology.
