Check the mounting position of the Baseplates by placing them on to the Mounting Brackets.
The middle Baseplate channels must align with the M8 slot Nuts in the Mounting Brackets.
Note the narrow ends of the Baseplates face towards the front and rear of the vehicle.
Set the distance between the inside of the Baseplates according to your Recovery Track type:
TRED 800 = 235 mm
TRED 1100 / MAXTRAX MKII = 440 mm

Referring to Figure 2, loosely attach the
front Baseplate to the front Mounting
Bracket. Repeat steps for the rear
Baseplate with the narrow end facing
towards the rear of the vehicle.
Check that the center channels are
horizontal and in alignment. Recheck the
measurements between the Baseplates
from Step 4, and adjust the position of the
Baseplates as necessary.
Tighten all bolts to 4 Nm with 6 mm Allen
key provided or a suitable Torque Wrench,
and a 13 mm spanner as required.
Note the approximate positions
on the Baseplate middle and lower
channels that align with the holes
in the Mounting Brackets.

Attach Straps by hooking the metal
webbing buckles from behind through the
top and bottom holes on the Baseplates.
It is recommended that the Fixed Strap
assemblies be installed in the top position
on both Baseplates. Ensure that the
buckles are sitting

ush against the
Baseplate as pictured, that the Velcro
section of the Adjuster Strap is facing
forward and that the Velcro section of the
Fixed Strap is facing backward.
Repeat steps for other Baseplate.
