Check crossbar spread is between 492 mm to 892 mm.  Position Baseplates on to separate crossbars 
noting the narrow ends face towards the front and rear of the vehicle.  

Set the distance between the inside of the Baseplates according to your Recovery Track type:
TRED 800 = 235 mm
TRED 1100 / MAXTRAX MKII =  440 mm

 ll down and slide 3x M8 T-Nuts into each crossbar channel in the positions under the 

Baseplate channels noted in the previous step. 
 
The 6 mm Allen key can be used to assist T-Nut installation into the channel.

Note - Your crossbar spacing and 

track size will determine where in the 

Baseplate channels to secure to the 

crossbars to obtain the recommended 

distance. 

Referring to Figure 6, loosely

 t 2x Baseplates to the M8 T-Nuts in the crossbars.  

Recheck the measurements between the insides of the Baseplates from step 1 and ensure center 
Baseplate channels align.  

Tighten screws to 4 Nm with 6 mm Allen Key provided or a suitable Torque Wrench.
