ATTENTION!
The dirt accumulated inside the drive disc such as grass clippings, sand, etc. can lead
to seizure of the articulated shaft. Shaft seizure can damage the mower transmission.
Carry out maintenance of the drive disc at least twice during the grass mowing season
and always after the season.
5.3
MAINTENANCE OF DRIVE UNIT
Drive system maintenance involves periodical checking of oil level and changing of oil in
mower's intersecting axis gears.
DANGER
Do NOT perform service or repair work under raised and unsupported machine.
Check oil level in intersecting axis gears daily.
To check the oil level in intersecting axis gears:
•
set mower level horizontally,
•
unscrew inspection plug (2),
•
oil level should reach the lower edge of the inspection plug opening (2),
•
if necessary, supplement oil through inlet opening (1) to the required level.
DANGER
When checking oil level and changing oil, use appropriate personal protection
equipment i.e. protective clothing, safety shoes, gloves, safety goggles. Avoid contact
of skin with oil.
