For the pump to be able to respond to the signals of the CAN bus, it must be set to “CANopen” –
“active”:
왘
Press the P key for 2 s (in the permanent display) – the “main menu” is displayed.
왘
Select the menu CANOPEN (arrow keys!) and press the P key.
왘
Select “active” (arrow keys!) in the menu option and press the P key – the CAN LED is green if
the pump is connected to a master. If the pump has in addition been started with the start/
stop key, the identifier “CANopen” is displayed at the top centre of the LCD display (not to be
confused with the identically looking identifier besides the identifier “stop”, if the pump was
stopped via the CAN bus).

Wait until the pump returns to the permanent display or press the P key for 3 s.

Troubleshooting
If a bus error occurs, the red fault indicators is illuminated and a double arrow is displayed in the
centre of the LCD display.
The operating and malfunction status are indicated by two LEDs via the socket “CANopen Bus”.
