When the measurement is completed, the systolic and the diastolic pressure as well as
the measured pulse frequency are displayed and stored. Furthermore,
the measurement result, with regard to the WHO scale, is shown on the
blood pressure analysis display (4). Now the cuff allows the residual air
escape from the system until it is completely empty.
•
When the device is not used for more than one minute, it switches off
automatically.
Note:
• When the device determines during inflating that the pressure is not sufficient, it
automatically starts a new inflating process.
Note:
•
If the device does not stop inflating, press the Start/Stop button
(A)
which leads to an
interruption of the measurement and the immediate reduction of the cuff pressure.
Note:
• If it is necessary to abort the measurement for whatever reason (e.g. discomfort),
this is possible by pressing the Start/Stop button
(A)
at any time. This interrupts the
measurement and immediately reduces the cuff pressure.
Using the memory function
This device has a memory for the storage of 40 measurements for each user. Each time a
measurement is completed, the device automatically stores the blood pressure as well as the
pulse frequency. If 40 data sets have already been stored, the oldest measured values are
replaced by the new ones.
Reading the measured values
•
Select the respective user by pressing the Set button
(B)
.
•
By pressing the Memory button
(D)
, you enter the memory menu.
•
If no measured values are stored, the display only shows date and time. Otherwise, the
display shows the average of the last 3 measurements and the symbol
for average values (12).
•
By pressing the Memory button
(D)
again, you can read the individual
measured values (the last value is displayed first, the first value is
displayed last).
•
To exit the memory menu, press the Start/Stop button
(A)
and the device
switches to the stand-by mode.
Deleting measured values
•
Select the respective user by pressing the Set button
(B)
