• Remove the backing from the wire clip. Dispose of the
backing.
• Press the wire clip into place in the battery compartment,
as shown.
• Fit the motor harness wires into the wire clip, as shown.

• Fit one of the side tabs on the hood into the slot in the
vehicle body.
• While bending the hood slightly, fit the other side tab into
the corresponding slot on the vehicle body.

• Fit the tabs on the battery clamp cap into the slots in the
battery clamp unit.
• Press firmly to
“snap”
the battery clamp cap tabs in the
battery clamp unit slots.

• Fit the louver to the top of the hood.
• From underneath the hood, insert four #6 x
5

" washer
head screws through the hood and into the louver.
Tighten the screws with a Phillips screwdriver. Do not
over-tighten.
