Minor Repairs

Towing lug

Depending on the vehicle equipment, the spare-

wheel well contains one or two towing lugs.

Screwing in rear towing lug

1. Carefully lever out the appropriate plastic 

cover 

A

 in the bumper with the screwdriver.

The cover is captive and need not be removed 

completely.

2.Screw in towing lug 

B

 as far as the stop (left-

hand thread) and tighten hand-tight.

Screwing in front towing lug
