THE DHMC UNIT. THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING
MODELS: HLD-NT, HLD-HT, HLD-BM AND THE HLD-BM/HT.
IT IS STRONGLY ADVISED THAT THESE INSTRUCTIONS
BE READ CAREFULLY PRIOR TO THE INSTALLATION AND
OPERATION OF YOUR NEW DHMC UNIT.
WE SUGGEST THAT THESE INSTRUCTIONS BE KEPT TO
ALLOW FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
BY FOLLOWING THE INSTRUCTIONS YOU MAKE SURE
THE PRODUCT WORKS WELL AND CAN BE USED FOR
A LONG TIME. YOU ALSO GET THE MOST OUT OF YOUR
EQUIPMENT AND AVOID UNNECESSARY COSTS OF
SERVICE.

INSTALLATION AND COMMISSIONING
Check the unit upon receipt, if it is noted that unit
has suffered from any form of damage during transit
you must indicate this on the delivery documents
and advise Porkka U.K.Ltd immediately via Fax (at-
taching a copy of the delivery docket).
The manufacturer’s guarantee DOES NOT cover
damages whilst in transit!
INSTALLING AND USE OF PRODUCT
Remove the delivery packaging near to where the unit is
to be installed.
Remove the protective covering from the surfaces of the
unit.
Adhere to the good practices of safe and responsible
disposal of packing debris.
Ambient temperature of the site location must be
b15°C…+32°C.
Ensure that the unit is horizontal and
completely level. If needed use a spirit.
Level to ensure such is the case prior to
operation.
Ensure that the unit is on a hard and
level surface.
Ensure that all castors are in touch with the ground.
An uneven ground level may distort the unit chassis.
Lock the castors once the unitis in situated.
In the end of the discharge valve of the bain marie there
is an internal thread of 1/2”. When necessary, lead the
water into the fl oor drain through a copper pipe or
a heat-resistant pipe.
Install the water channel delivered together with the
equipment to the clip in the lower edge of the frame.
The condensed water of the pressure heat process is
conveyed into the fl oor drain through the drains in the
ends of the channel.
Clean the unit carefully with a mild detergent prior to use,
for instance dish washing liquid.
Do not use scrubbing
products or abrasive materials for cleaning!
