10. Remove the clamps holding the front intake duct to
the hood liner.
11. Remove the hood liner to remove the front intake duct
from the vehicle. Refer to
“Exterior Body
Component Removal” page
procedure.
INTAKE INSTALLATION
1. Install the front intake duct into position in the vehicle
and install the hood liner to hold the front intake duct
to the vehicle. Refer to
“Exterior Body Component
Installation” page
procedure.
2. Install the clamps holding the front intake duct to the
hood liner. Torque to specification.
TORQUE
Intake Duct Clamps:
24 lb-in (3 Nm)
3. Install the hood onto the vehicle. Refer to
procedure.
4. With the skid plate removed, install the floor intake
duct into position and install the fasteners (2) holding
the floor intake duct to the vehicle. Install the clamps
(1) holding the engine and clutch intake ducts to the
floor intake duct. Torque clamps to specification.
TORQUE
Intake Duct Clamps:
24 lb-in (3 Nm)
5. Install the main skid plate. Refer to
procedure.
6. Install the air box and engine intake hose assembly
into the vehicle. Install the clamp holding the air box
intake duct to the air box assembly. Torque to
specification.
TORQUE
Intake Duct Clamps:
24 lb-in (3 Nm)
