Blood Pressure
Bleed rate testing and adjustment
You will need a stopwatch or a watch with a second hand to test the bleed rate.
1.
Select a volunteer to test the blood pressure function.
2.
Apply the cuff to the non-dominant arm. The cuff should be snug, but
not tight.
3.
Choose an existing client or create a new client to test (add a new test or
edit an old one-if unsure how to do this, follow the
tutorials that were installed on your desktop
computer).
4.
Go to
Biometrics
and choose
Blood Pressure
. (This
is if using Personal View. If using Quick Entry, see
the next screen).
If in Quick Entry
View click on the
measure icon next
to the Systolic
field.
5.
Click
Measure
(skip this step if using the quick
entry view as shown in last screen above)
