Making the Connections
1. Connecting the power
Plug the receptacle end of the power cord into the power socket on the rear
panel of the Server.
Plug the other end of the power cord into a standard power outlet.
2. Connecting a PC directly to the Server (for the initial setup).
Please either connect a Crossover cable from the LAN port on the PC to the
LAN port on the rear panel of the Server, or connect a RJ-45 cable
(Straight-Through
cable) together with the included crossover connector
from the PC to the Server.
(To connect the ADSL modem to the Server, wait until after you finish Setup
Wizard process.)
3. Connecting the whole network
Connect a network cable from ADSL modem to the WAN port on the rear
panel of the Server.
Connect a Connectivity Adapter cable from the mobile phone to the USB
port.
Connect a cable from the printer to the printer port.
Connect a network cable from the Hub to the LAN port on the rear panel of
the Server.
Connect a network cable from the Hub to the LAN port on the PC.
