efore you install
phpBB
, make sure the hard disk drive has been installed into the
Server properly, or
phpBB
cannot be installed. Make sure to obtain a domain name
and assign the IP address since the system will automatically modify the server network
parameters, including the mail servers and the system value of the domain name.
Follow the steps below to install phpBB:
1. Click
Online Install
on the management interface, and follow the on-screen
instructions.
2. Select
the
English
language in the configuration page that pops up.

Randomly choose a database format, for example,
MySQL 5.x
.

Select the installation method as

It is suggested that you enter
phpBB
as
Your Database Name
.
6. Enter
localhost
in
Database Server Host name / DSN

Enter the default login account name

Database Username

Database Password
. The phpBB password must be the same as the password of
the server’s MySQL:

Enter data in Administrator
Username
and
Administrator Password
. The settings
in the two fields will be used when you enter the
phpBB Login
management page.
9. Click
Start Install
to install phpBB.

forum software.
phpBB
is a community solution that allows you to manage your
bulletin board easily.
