to confirm.
Please refer to Appendix A for how to check for the MAC address on the network
interface card for each PC.
After the MAC address is entered, the PC specified will be restricted to use only the
internal service and mail functions provided by the Server.
For example, after you enter the MAC address belonging to employee Steven, he is
permitted to use only the internal connection services, including network neighborhood,
printer server, FTP server, and internal emails sending/receiving via Web Mail. However,
Steven will not be able to send/ receive external mails and visit other websites except the
company’s website. All the external Internet services will not be available for Steven.
Information
If the MAC address displayed on a network interface card is
00:0e:a6:76:6f:30, you can write down these 12 characters,
and enter the characters in the blank box under the
MAC Filter
screen using the “:” colon symbol to set the characters apart,
