The
Channel Data Logs (Analyzer)
panel contains the list of the log pages opened
directly from the Analyzer. The list of pages is updated every time you click on
«Reset»
button, or at opening of the Data Logger window. To operate this list, it is necessary to
maintain communication with the Analyzer.
To add a new page to the data log manager, click on
«Add page»
button and enter
the following parameters in the pop-up dialog:
«Number»
, its name (
«Name»
),
current
channel plan
«Plan»
,
«Date/Time»
. After you click
«OK»
in
the dialog box, the new page
will appear in the list, but will not be uploaded to the Analyzer yet. To save a page into the
Analyzer, select
«Apply changes»
button. To abort saving a page into the IT-088, click
«Cancel changes»
.
To delete one or several log pages from the Analyzer, highlight these pages in the list
and click
«Delete page»
.
The
Channel Data Logs (Computer)
panel contains the list of log pages opened from
the computer files. You can access this list even if the Analyzer is not connected to the
computer. To add a new page to the data log manager, open it from file by clicking on
«Open page from file»
button on this panel. The
Channel Data Logs (Computer)
list is
automatically cleared after you close the data log manager.
The selected log page can be saved into a file in one of the following four formats:
a) channel data log page file (*.nb

b) text file (*.txt);
c) MS Excel file (*.csv);
d) image file (*.bmp).
The *.nbc files are used for saving of the data log pages for further viewing. The other
formats are used for data export. To save the selected data log page, click
«Save page
into file»
button on the panel, or select the same command in the right-click menu. In the
standard file saving dialog select the format of the file and its location, then click
«OK»
.
To view a data log page, select its name in the log page list by the mouse or keyboard
arrows. The selected page will be readout from the Analyzer and displayed on the screen.
A data log page (figure 4.46) contains the following fields:
a)

- TV channel containing the current point. If the point does not belong to
the channel, this field will remain clear.
