Figure 4.14
The table represents a channel plan. The top line (index 1) divides the table into
columns. The first column is the number of frequency point (from 1 to 112). The second
column is the frequency of the point in kHz (index 2). The third column is the number of TV
channel covering the frequency point (index 4). The number of the TV channel will be
highlighted in inverse colour if the channel is digital. The fourth column is the of the
frequency point (TV channel) up to 6 characters (index 5). The bottom line (index 3) shows
the commands that can be accessed by the functional keys. These commands are as
follows:
a) editing of the frequency point (
Edit
). Select by
«F1»
. Allows editing the selected
frequency point;
b) saving of the channel plan (
Save
). Select by
«F2»
. Allows exiting the mode and
saving the channel plan into the memory of the Analyzer;
c) deleting of the frequency point (
Delete
). Select by
«F3»
. Allows deleting the selected
frequency point.
d) creating a new frequency point (
New
). Select by
«F4»
. Allows creating the new
frequency point.
Creation of a new frequency point is possible only if there are free channels between
the current and the following frequency points in the table.
To edit the frequency point, select the required channel by
« »
and
« »
keys (the
selected line will be framed), and press
«F1»
. The table of frequency point parameters will
appear. See figure 4.15.
Figure 4.15
3 groups of parameters are available for editing in the table:
Basic parameters:
a) Type:
type of the channel: analogue or digital;
b) Channel:
number of the channel;
c) Name:
name of the channel;
d) Fcarrier:
frequency of the video carrier for analogue channel or central frequency for
digital channel frequency band;
e) Fnoise:
frequency shift for C/N ratio measurement. The values available from -8000
to +8000 kHz with 125 kHz step;
f) Bandwidth:
frequency band width (for channels with digital modulation). The values
available from 1000 to 8000 kHz with 250 kHz step;
