Machine Settings
Machine settings allow you to customize your
mailstation™
digital
postage meter for the way you run your mail and add security to those
features that are sensitive to your organization. These settings include:
• Setting system time
• Setting display contrast
• Using the preset feature
• Checking, printing, and clearing batch count totals
• Setting/disabling lock code
• Setting sleep mode activation time
• Activating sleep mode manually
• Settings for the optional scale
• Setting a high value warning
• Setting a low funds warning
• Entering the prefix for dialing out to data center
• Selecting tone/pulse for dialing out to data center
• Creating Intra BMC (Bulk Mail Center) ZIP Code groups
Setting System Time
1. Press
Menu.
2. Use the Review keys to scroll to "Change date and time settings?"
and press
Enter/yes
.
3. Use the Review keys to scroll to "Change time?" and press
Enter/
yes.
4. Use the Review keys to advance or set back the time shown. A
message confirms your choice and the main screen displays.
NOTE: You cannot change the system time to a previous date.
