Placing the speakers
To achieve the best p ossible su rr ound sound, install you r
s p eake r s as shown below.

r ecommends p lacing them togethe r and the same
distance f r om you r listening p osition (see below).
THX speaker system setup
If you have a com p lete THX s p eake r system, follow the
diag r am below to p lace you r s p eake r s. Note that the
su rr ound s p eake r s ( indicates bi- p ola r r adiating
s p eake r s) should out p ut at an angle p a r allel to the
listene r .
• If you have two su rr ound back s p eake r s THX
r ecommends p lacing them togethe r and the same
distance f r om you r listening p osition fo r the following
THX modes: THX Select2 CINEMA , THX Select2
MUSIC

• If you a r e using a THX ce r tified subwoofe r use the
THX INPUT jack on the subwoofe r (if you r subwoofe r
has one) o r switch the filte r p osition to THX on you r
subwoofe r .
