Multi Operation
If you have a number of Pioneer components in your
system, you can take advantage of the Multi Operation
feature of this receiver’s remote control. This switches on
the source component, this receiver, your TV and sets the
receiver’s input function to the correct source.
Before Multi Operation will work correctly, you must
setup the remote to work with your TV and other
components using the correct preset codes (see
Recalling preset codes
on page 39).
•
Press and hold RECEIVER then press an input
select button (DVD, DVR/VCR, TV/SAT or FM/AM).
• Note that pressing the
FM/AM
button does not
cause the TV to switch on.
System Off function
The System Off function allows you to switch off all the
Pioneer components in your AV system at the same time.
•
Press
RECEIVER and RECEIVER at the same
time.
The receiver and all Pioneer AV components within the
range of the remote control should switch into standby.
Note
• There are a few Pioneer components that do not
respond to the Multi Operation and/or System Off
commands.
Resetting all remote control settings
This restores all presets to the factory defaults. See
Using
the remote control with other components
on page 38 for
the default remote settings.
•
Press RECEIVER and number button ‘0’ (zero) at
the same time. Keep them pressed for about 3
seconds.
The LED on the remote control blinks three times
indicating all the preset codes and the Remote Direct
setting have been reset to the factory defaults.
