Using the remote control
operation mode switch
There are two remote control operation modes
on the remote control. If you want to operate
this unit by remote control, select
DVH
mode.
In this case, both the head unit

s buttons and
remote control can control this unit.
DVH
mode operation
When operating this unit by remote control,
the mode is normally switched to
DVH
.
DVD
mode operation
If you switch the mode to
DVD
, the thumb pad
and

operations are changed for the
DVD player.

Basic Operations of this unit
Important
!
Handle gently when removing or attaching
the front panel.
!
Avoid subjecting the front panel to excessive
shock.
!
Keep the front panel out of direct sunlight and
high temperatures.
!
To avoid damaging the device or vehicle inter-
ior, remove any cables and devices attached
to the front panel before detaching it.
Removing the front panel to protect your unit from
theft

Press the open button to open the front panel.

Grip the left side of the front panel and pull it
gently outward.
Take care not to grip it too tightly or to drop the
front panel and protect it from contact with water
or other fluids to prevent permanent damage.

Always keep the detached front panel in a protec-
tion device such as a protection case.
Re-attaching the front panel

Reattach the front panel by holding it upright to
the unit and clipping it securely into the mount-
ing hooks.
Turning the unit on

Press
S (SRC/OFF)
to turn the unit on.
Turning the unit off

Press and hold
S (SRC/OFF)
until the unit turns
off.
