Operation
supplying the desired power to the coil. In such a case, proper sealing may not be
accomplished. This light shows that the alarm circuitry is active.
Impedance High
- This indicator serves no function in capsealing. If this light illuminates
when the power supply is in Stop mode, it does
not
indicate a problem. If it illuminates
while the power supply is
running
, there may be a problem inside the power supply. In this
event, please contact Pillar Service.
Impedance Low
- Indicates that an impedance mismatch has occurred. The foil liners are
drawing too much power from the power supply. Reduce the power setting or the number of
bottles under the coil until the lamp remains out during sealing. If necessary, increase the
sealing times to get the proper seal of the cap. Note: If this light illuminates when the power
supply is in Stop mode, it does
not
indicate a problem.
High Temp
- Indicates that the power transistors inside the power supply are not receiving
sufficient cooling. The power supply will shut down to prevent the unit from overheating. If
this light illuminates, you should call Pillar Service. The temperature switch has an
automatic reset, so once the unit has cooled down you can press the stop switch and restart
the unit.
Stalled Bottle Fault -
NOT USED.
Current Trip
- Indicates that a short circuit has occurred between the power supply and the
coil. The power supply will shut down to protect the output circuits.
Under Voltage Trip
- Indicates that the output voltage from the power supply has dropped
below a safe operating level. The power supply will shut down to prevent from drawing
excessive current.
Over Voltage Trip
- Indicates that a voltage surge or other situation has caused an over-
voltage condition within the power supply. The power supply will shut down to protect
itself.
Water Flow Loss
- Not applicable on the air-cooled systems.
Missing Foil Fault -
NOT USED.
